UK Government sued over EWTD
The European Commission is taking the UK Government to the European Court of Justice over failure to implement EWTD, according to reports today. The breaches relate to rest breaks and undeclared hours.
This follows a challenge by the union Amicus against the DTI. The case could have wide-ranging implications for the practice and interpretation of EWTD.
